Processing of Cups in PP, PET, and HIPS
The thermoforming process typically falls into two distinct segments. The most common is a thermoforming process utilizing a separate trim press. This approach is used to produce a wide variety of product from the entire spectrum of thermoformable plastic materials. TSL offers its Low Flex Series of thermoformers with the appropriate accompanying trim press for this concept. Everything from deep draw disposable cups to lids can be produced on these state of the art machines.

Processing of Hot and Cold Drink Lids by Two Methods
Hold or cold drink lids can be produced on either the TSL Low Flex series of machines or in a rotary or mold to melt process. For Lids from PP, PET, or HIPS the Low flex series of thermoformers and the HD or LR trim presses are in wide spread use. Either roll fed or in-line with an extruder. TSL can partner with other vendors to incorporate automated packaging of the lids as well as placing the sleeves of lids in to corrugated boxes.

Thermoformed Containers Processed from Rigid and PS Foam resins
TSL Low Flex thermoformers and HD or LR series trim presses, horizontal or vertical, can process food service containers of a wide variety, hinged lid, cake domes, produce trays, etc from various rigid resins: HIPS, APET, CPET, TFPP, PP, OPS, etc. Sheet widths of 22" to 55". PS foam trays, plates, hinged lid containers, etc can be processed on the Low Flex 5.1 former and 5.0 horizontal or vertical trim press.

Berry Baskets, Consumer-Safe Fresh Food Containers
Fresh berries require ventilated packaging to maintain freshness. The TSL LR5.0 Pre-Punch Station can punch holes in the the bottoms and side walls of berry baskets to provide adequate airflow to maximize shelf life.
